College Support for Students with LD or ADHD

The Scotch Plains Public Library is hosting a workshop with college admissions consultant Rana Slosberg of Slosberg College Solutions LLC.  This event will take place this evening at 7:00pm.  Com and learn about the ways in which to support students with LD and ADHD as they move from high school into college.

Topics include:

–College as compared to high school
–Should a student disclose LD or ADHD at college?
–Classes of LD and ADHD support available at college with descriptions of that support
–How to learn about support at a particular college

Rana Slosberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree  from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU, a Master of Arts degree from Queens College, and a Certificate in Independent Consulting from the University of California–Irvine Extention.  She visits colleges regularly and is a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the New Jersey Association of College Admissions Counselors (NJACAC), and the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP).  She previously served as a manager with a Global 500 Company.  For more information, visit www.scotlib.org or call 908-322-5007.  All are welcome.
