Current Events for Everyone at Fanwood Library

CURRENT EVENTS FOR EVERYONE, a monthly topical discussion group, will meet at the FANWOOD MEMORIAL LIBRARY on MONDAY January 25th at 10:30 am. This is a change in schedule due to the Monday (19th) closing of the library.

Moderated by Christopher C. Gibbs, a Ph.D in History, Viet Nam War veteran, and author of two books on history and five mysteries, will moderate CURRENT EVENTS FOR EVERYONE. Each month our discussions include the serious and the not so serious news items that are affecting our towns, state and country around us. Mr. Gibbs, a teacher with the L.I.F.E. program for senior citizens at Union County College has chosen for January the topic:. Climate; Change for the better or worse!

The February meeting will be held on Feb. 22nd due to the closing of the library on Feb. 15th. The topic for February will be Security and Terrorism.

Regular 10:30 am 3rd Monday meetings will resume in March and continue through June. The topic for the March 15 meeting will be Morality in Public Life. Topics for future sessions will be decided on later.
