Medication Options for Individuals with Autism

“Medication Options for Individuals with Autism, led by Dr. Mark Faber, is the topic of a free, upcoming educational forum, sponsored by The Children’s Institute, to be held at Words Bookstore, 179 Maplewood Ave, Maplewood, on April 3, 2012 from 7 pm - 9 pm.  The free lecture is open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required, so please call 973-509-3050 ext. 281 if you are interested in attending.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Faber is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with Children, Adolescents, and Adults and is in private practice in Upper Montclair.  He is the Consulting Psychiatrist at The Children’s Institute and is also the Director, Division of Pediatric Psychiatry in the Department of Pediatrics at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and has been listed as one of four top Psychiatrists in the State of New Jersey by NJ Monthly magazine.

Dr. Faber graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.  He then graduated with honors from Ross University.  He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at The Yale Medical School affiliated program and two fellowships – Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and Sleep Disorders Medicine at UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  He is Board Certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. 

In addition to his Board Certification in adult and child psychiatry, Mark Faber, M.D. is  listed in The Castle Connolly Guide, “How To Find The Best MD’s in the New York Metro Area.”

About The Children’s Institute (TCI):
