New Jersey Collegiate Career Day - Rutgers University, New Brunswick

Rutgers University is hosting New Jersey's largest career day.  The New Jersey Collegiate Career Day will be held today from 9:30am - 3:30pm at the Rutgers Student Center, 126 College Avenue and Bower Commons, 145 College Avenue, New Brunswick. 

More than 170 public and private sector employers representing a wide range of industries will greet job seekers during New Jersey Collegiate Career Fair, sponsored by Rutgers Career Services.  More employers are participating in this year’s event compared to the career day last spring.  “The larger number of employers seeking candidates is an encouraging sign,” says Richard White, director of Career Services.  “Employer participation in Rutgers’ January Collegiate Career Day increased from 134 in 2011, to 172 in 2012 – a 28 percent increase.” 

Job seekers should bring hard copies of their resumes for employers the day of the Career Fair.  Business attire is strongly recommended.  Parking for job candidates will be available at the Scarlet Parking Lot-West, adjacent to the Rutgers High Point Solutions Football Stadium in Piscataway.  Free shuttle buses will run continuously between the parking area and the career day locations between 9 am and 4 pm.  Parking is available on the College Avenue Campus only for employers.   Additional information for employers and job seekers is available at http://careerservices.rutgers.edu.  All are welcome
