Splash Week - Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is pleased to announce SPLASH week from April 2, 2012 - April 5, 2012 at their facility located at 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains.

Each year, thousands of people are injured in swimming-related accidents because they are unaware of the potential dangers related to the water and/or they have not received proper swim instruction.  The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA recognizes the need for further education and is committed to helping our community become safer around the water.

During SPLASH week at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Y, they will be promoting safety with an in-water Learn to Swim and Safety Training program for youth ages 3-12.  The program is FREE of charge and is open to the community, Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm -5:15 pm. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
