How many times has the police department reminded residents to lock their cars? A simple act of locking one's car would save people the headache and frustration of dealing with a theft, and our police officers could spend their time more productively rather than writing these reports.

What makes people think that they can leave there car doors or any other doors (garage, front, and back) unlocked. In a perfect society maybe but look around you???

very true it's not the area it's people in general. Not everyone is the basic Tom, Dick or Harry nextdoor and we should all be aware of that truthful fact.
