Goddard Voted Best Pre-school in SPF

Championed by enthusiastic parents, Fanwood's Goddard School for Early Childhood Education won this week's Reader's Choice with 45 percent of the vote.

and while many spoke out in favor of neighboring schools including and the ,for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years won this week's contest. 

Local resident, Tracy Brace opened the Fanwood branch of the Goddard School in 2008. Two of her three children have also attended the school. The Goddard School works to develop the whole child through a FLEX learning program allows children to learn through play, utilizing enrichment programs that include art history, yoga, music, and more. Brace explained that she also communicates with educators at local elementary schools to learn how Goddard can prepare students for first grade.

“We focus on the total child which means preparing students to be independent learners once they reach first grade,” Brace said “Each classroom has between two and three teachers who can customize the Goddard curriculum to the student’s needs. At the end of the school day, our kids never want to leave.”

“My children love The Goddard School in Fanwood. The teaching and administrative staff there is fantastic and the curriculum is well rounded. My children can't wait to go to school each day and are well prepared for entering first grade. I highly recommend The Goddard School to any family looking to build a solid foundation for their children's education,” she said.
