Photo Brief: Author Presents Book to Magnet School

Author Elizabeth Bettina presented her book, "It Happened in Italy," to Union County Vocational-Technical Magnet School principal Gwen Seneschal on Friday. Bettina also delivered a talk to more than 60 Magnet School juniors about her book, which chronicles the effort by Italians to defy the Nazis during World War II and save Jewish residents from the Holocaust. The presentation was sponsored by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders and UNICO District X, marking the occasion of Italian Heritage Month in October and the Columbus Day Holiday.
