Raiders Take First Loss, Fall to Warriors 1-0

Scotch Plains-Fanwood girls soccer team played tough, but was unable to score.

The girls varsity soccer team lost its first game of the 2011 season to Watchung Hills on Tuesday afternoon, losing 1-0.

The game was fought mostly between the 30-yard lines.  The Raiders mounted a number of runs to the Warrior goal but were unable to finish with a score.

RAIDER OF THE GAME   

Sarah Vanbuskirk - Sarah seemed to be all over the field, always in position to stop Warrior plays and get the ball moving to Raider forwards.

THEY SAID IT
