State sectional tournament (Boys:10th/17)

 News and Notes

Varsity Football

-Anthony Byers rushed for 206 yards on 26 carries in the loss to Elizabeth.

Girls Varsity Soccer

-Ranked No. 16 in the Star Ledger

-Won its sixth UCT in the last seven years with the win over Westfield

-Jessie Klein connected on the game-winning penalty kick in the state sectional semifinals victory over Somerville

Girls JV Soccer

-Captured the Union County Tournament championship behind second half goals from Amanda Marcus and Tori Baliatico.  Goalie Angela Rastelli recorded a shutout in the victory. 

Boys Varsity Soccer

-Ranked No. 8 in the Star Ledger top 20 

-Scored with just over 11 minutes to play to break the scoreless tie in the UCT finals win over Union. 

-Colin Stripling connected for two goals in the 4-2 state sectional semifinals win over West Morris.

Girls Gymnastics

-Finished fourth in the state sectional tournament with a score of 103.8.  Bishop Ahr won the event with a total of 110.45

-Steve Osores' free kick served as the game-winning goal in the Vikings' 1-0 win over Linden.

Girls Varsity Volleyball

-Union County Tournament champions

-No. 2 seeded team in the non-public state sectional.

-No. 7 team in the state
