Senior Class to Play One Last Song for Community
The 2012 Senior Class will perform a variety of pieces in a final recital at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 14.
Over the past four years, you have heard their beautiful voices, watched them master their instrumental craft, and perform in memorable musicals. Now, all are invited to say goodbye to the SPFHS Senior class with a special showcase, in celebration of their musical achievements as high school students.
The recital will be held in the at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 14.
The 29 seniors participating in the showcase will perform a large variety of musical tunes including those performed by Carrie Underwood, musical theater giant Idina Menzel, Mozart, and Jethro Tull. There is no charge for admission.

“This showcase will highlight the talents from the department’s award-winning jazz and concert ensembles and choral groups,” Abbe Harris, a spokesman for the Music Department said. “The Senior Recital is an eclectic evening of entertainment, featuring Broadway show tunes, jazz combos, classical pieces, solos and duets.”
The students performing in Thursday’s showcase are listed below, along with where they will be continuing their education in the fall. Readers are sure to recognize several SPFHS stars from Patch’s , including Nick Poulios and Matt Kempner.
