Join Superintentdent Dr. Margaret Hayes and the Scotch Plains-Fanwood PTA on Monday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. for Coffee with the Superintendent at . All are welcome.
On Wednesday, March 7, at 9 a.m., the Scotch Plains Public Library is for seniors and area residents with low to moderate income. This program is organized and conducted by AARP Tax-Aide, a program of the AARP Foundation in conjunction with the IRS, and the State of NJ, Division of Taxation. To make an appointment call the at 908-322-5007 X201 or schedule one at the circulation desk at the library, today, for appointments, Monday and Tuesday mornings, February 6, until April 17.
On March 2, in downtown Scotch Plains will open up its game room from 6 to 11 p.m. for board game play. Bring the family or friends or both. Come alone and meet new people, the possibilities are endless. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 908-322-9402.
The Education Enrichment Foundation of Scotch Plains-Fanwood is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, March 8, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Italian American hall in Scotch Plains. Tickets ordered before March 2 are $45 or $50 at the door. Wine, Beer, and hors d’oeuvres are included.
will open for it’s tenth season in Fanwood at noon on Saturday, March 10. Celebrate the start of spring on March 21 with a free regular size ice.
in Fanwood will host the second annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival from 3 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 10 in front of the train station. Tickets can purchased at the door for $10 or in advance at Flannery’s for $7. A portion of the proceeds will benefit FYO Little League and PAL sports. Come on out for live music, food, clowns, beer and more.
