This Week at the Schools: Middle School Social, UC Registration, Scholarship Deadline

Every Monday, Patch Columnist Mike Prasad highlights what's happening at the school systems supporting Scotch Plains and Fanwood.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood

  • Coles Elementary School hosts a pet-food drive all week.
  • Monday, Feb. 7:  Winter Concert at 7:30pm. 
  • Tuesday, Feb. 8: Athletics Booster Meeting at 7:30pm at the High School, Parents Tour of Park Middle School, 9pm.
  • Thursday, Feb. 10: Brunner Sibling Pictures from 3:15pm to 5pm, "Parenting Children Mixing Empathy & Consequences" at Brunner Elementary School from 7:30pm - 9pm.
  • Friday, Feb. 11: Park Middle School Social from 3-4:30 p.m., Terrill Middle School Valentine Social from 3-4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 12: Day of Percussion at the High School Auditorium from 9:30 a.m.- 6 p.m.

SPF Foundation Scholarship Deadline Feb. 15
Applications for the Scotch Plains Fanwood Foundation's college scholarship program must be postmarked by Feb. 15. Full details on this program are available on the SPF school district's website or in the high school guidance office. These scholarships are available to any eligible senior of any school (public or private), who resides in Scotch Plains or Fanwood.
