What's New with School One Elementary School

School One students produce great art, donate hundreds of cans of food.

Students at are proving to be great artists, and wonderful volunteers. In honor of the hundreth day of school in February, students in Pre-K through fourth grade collected several hundred cans of food. Pictured in the first photo are representatives from each class with just a small sample of all the food collected.

Pictured in the second photo are a group of blossoming artists who participated in the National PTA Reflections Art program. The five students who submitted art work were Abby Germinder, Grace Germinder, Erica Schug, Camille Cabrera, and Mihika Iyer. Cabrera won at the county submission level. Her artwork will be entered into the state-wide Reflections competition.
