"Y" hosts Malcolm Hoenlein & Open House - YM-YWHA of Union County

The YM-YWHA of Union County is pleased to announce plans for the annual Open House Program to take place on Sunday, September 25, 2011.  Doors open at 10:00am, with Membership incentives, give-a-ways ,prizes, and "Spin the Wheel" discounts.  The Program Staff will be on hand to offer personal guidance in choosing classes and signing up for special events.  A representative  from the JOY (Join Ohel Yisroel) Program will offer information and registration for the 2011-2012 year.  At 11:00am, Malcolm Hoenlein, will be the featured Speaker.  Mr. Hoenlein is the Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations.  He is known world-wide and always delivers dynamic and intellectually stimulating topics.  There is a $5 donation requested for non-members.  Food will be available to purchase from "The Nosh", the new dairy cafe at the Y.   For the children, babysitting is available from 10:30am-12:30pm.  This includes a special educational live animal presentation show from "Mr. Lizard".  Please plan on stopping by at 501 Green Lane in Union.  To reserve a seat for Malcolm Hoenlein, please call 908-289-8112.  The "Y" is a non-profit community center serving the eastern end of Union County.  The facility boasts a full Early Childhood Center, Gym, Fitness Center, Heated Olympic Pool, Youth, Afterschool, and Senior Programs.  Visit us on the web at www.uniony.org.
