Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is pleased to offer a YogaFit Training Level III Program on November 5, 2011 and 6, 2011 from 8:00am – 6:00pm at their main facility located at 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains. Participants who complete the training will receive 1.4 ACE CEC’s for the training.
To take this incredible training, participants must have completed YogaFit Teacher Training Level II. YogaFit’s Level III takes the yoga teacher trainees on an introspective journey of self-awareness. Trainees will spend time discussing metaphysical and philosophical aspects of yoga and the effects that yoga has on the mind-body connection. Through study of yamas, niyamas, and chakras, trainees take a deeper look at the transformational power of their own yoga practice. Then, using YogaFit teaching tools, trainees will learn how to integrate these concepts into their yoga classes, making them a richer experience for participants.
