In Game two, Courtmasters 58 and Double Dribble 55. This was the tightest score of the day. Both teams fought hard in the first half with the score ending with Courtmasters leading 27 to 26 at the half. Stellar shooting and tough defense was the key to the Courtmaster’s win today.  Jason Pompeo was the leading scorer for Courtmasters with 22 points. Most of Pompeo’s points came in the second half as he was repeatedly sent to the line where he was 9 for 15. Courtmaster’s other hot hands were Joe Encarnacion and Gregg Carder both with 12 points. Jeff Genebazo was good for 6 pts from downtown as well. Double Dribble’s Marlon Brown was the game’s leading scorer with 25 points of which 12 were three point bombs as he tried to get the DD back in the game, Eric Halpin was the next leading scorer with 9 for Double Dribble.  Ultimately Courtmasters were able to fend off a last minute surge from Double Dribble to win the game.

Game three closed with Fast Break 47 and Got Skillz 34.  Fast Break continued their dominance in the league by beating Got Skillz in the final game of the day.  This was another game that saw the two teams evenly matched in the first half as Fast Break went into half time leading 18 to 17.
