JCC Camp Yachad Introduces Maccabi Sports Camp

The Maccabi Sports Camp is open to children from First to Fourth grade.


The following information is provided by the JCC of Central New Jersey.

Beginning Summer 2013, the JCC of Central New Jersey’s Camp Yachad is adding a sports day camp to its programming.  The Maccabi Sports Camp, for 1st – 4th graders, will be at the expansive Wardlaw-Hartridge School campus in Edison, NJ.  Campers will have access to Wardlaw’s fields, tennis courts, gymnasium and indoor pool.

The perfect program for the young sports enthusiast, the Maccabi Sports Camp will focus on soccer, baseball/softball, lacrosse, flag football, basketball and tennis. Campers will receive

professional instruction each day, including skill building, drills and competitive play.  Instructional and recreational swim is also included.

As part of the Camp Yachad family, Maccabi Sports Camp campers will participate in Camp Yachad activities such as morning round-up and special event camp days at the JCC in Scotch Plains.

Door-to-door transportation is provided to the JCC each day and then a bus will bring campers to The Wardlaw-Hartridge campus.  Early arrival and late stay options are also available.

 

Camp Yachad also offers traditional day, travel and performing arts camp programs for children ages 18 months – 14 years.  For more information on all Camp Yachad programs, visit www.jccnj.org or come to one of our upcoming Open Houses scheduled for Sunday, March 17 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 21 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. or Thursday, May 23 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
