Scotch Plains Highlands Defeat Westfield Marlins

A crowd packed Memorial Pool in Westfield on Saturday for the first youth swim meet.

Memorial Pool in Westfield was packed Saturday morning as the Scotch Plains Highlands Swim Club team took on the Westfield Marlins for the first swim meet of the summer season. Swimmers, ranging from six years old to sixth grade, competed in a variety of meets, including backstroke, breaststroke and relays. Highlands took home the meet trophy with Westfield swimmers competing well on an individual basis.
