SP-F Kids Enjoy Annual Basketball Shooting Contests

Park Middle School hosted the annual shooting contest that challenged players to sink rapid fire shots.

Players of the Scotch Plains Parks and Recreation basketball league took to the court Tuesday night to test their free throw skills.

The annual shooting contest, held at Park Middle School's gymansium, featured three different groups.

Third and 4th grade boys and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade girls competed in a rapid fire competition from set distances depending on their age. For the 7th and 8th boys, there was a 3-point competition where they attempted to sink as many as they could in one minute.
