SPFHS to Retire Star Basketball Alum Bryan Dougher's Number

Dougher led the team to its only state championship in boy's basketball in 2008.

On Friday night, Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School will be retiring the jersey of alum and star basketball player Bryan Dougher before their 8 p.m. game versus Westfield.

Dougher is a 2008 graduate who, his senior year, led the team to its only state championship in boy's basketball. Dougher is also the school's all-time leading scorer for the boy's basketball team.

After graduating, Dougher went on to play for Stony Brook, where he also holds the record as that program's all-time leading Division I scorer. He is now playing professionally in Australia, but is currently home and will be attending the Friday ceremony.
