Willow Grove vs. Highland Swim Meet Postponed

The annual grudge match will take place Monday, July 26, at 5:15 p.m.

Wednesday night's highly anticipated swim meet between perennial rivals Willow Grove Swim Club and Highland Swim Club was postponed due to thunder and lightning. The meet was rescheduled for Monday, July 26, at 5:15 p.m. The meet will take place at Willow Grove.

The delay will not help Willow Grove, which was missing six of its strongest swimmers in the 15-to-18-year-old age group Wednesday. Those swimmers were preparing for the YMCA Long Course National Championships, which take place July 27-30 at the University of Maryland's Cantonsville campus. They will not return to Scotch Plains and Fanwood until next weekend.
