Scotch Plains Summer Concert Series Kicks Off Tonight

The series will take place over six Thursday nights beginning this week.

Looking for something free and fun to do? Tonight, the Township of Scotch Plains’ Cultural Arts Committee kicks off its 2013 Summer Concert Series with two performances.

The series will take place over six Thursday nights beginning this week: First at 6:30 p.m., the children’s group Hot Peas N Butter will perform.  At 7:30 p.m., the British Invasion tribute band Carnaby Street will play.

7/11 – Hot Peas N Butter (6:30 p.m.), Carnaby Street (7:30 p.m.)

7/18 – Funktion 11 – Funk Rock & Pop (7:30 p.m.)

7/25 -  Southbound - Country (7:30 p.m.)

8/1    - Exodus Supreme - Reggae (7:30 p.m.)

8/6    - National Night Out

8/15  - Mashwork Orange – Pop Covers (7:30 p.m.)

8/22 – Doo-Wop Concert (7:30 p.m.)

All performances will take place at the Alan Augustine Village Green, adjacent to the Municipal Building.
