'Tribute to Fallen Heroes' Concert Kicks Off Memorial Day

The second annual "Tribute to Fallen Heroes" concert was held on Sunday on the northside of the Fanwood train station.

The Westfield Community Band, led by Director Thomas Connors, played patriotic melodies, traditional marches and other popular works. Local veterans and  community leaders also spoke to the crowd.

The event recognized the deceased and wounded warriors of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as well as all other military personnel who lost their lives in service to our country.
