Scotch Plains, NJ– On February 27, Union Catholic High School participated in the second annual Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day, an initiative organized by CASE Affiliated Student Advancement Programs, designed to increase student understanding of philanthropy.
“A philanthropic culture is thriving at Union Catholic,” explained Susan M. Dyckman, director of development. “Student Engagement and Philanthropy Day gave us an opportunity to demonstrate to students the value they add to their UC high school experience through service projects and fundraising, both of which fall into the category of ‘philanthropy.’ Our hope is that they will take what they’re learning at UC and continue to give back with their time, talent and treasure as alumni long after graduation.”
