Union Catholic Seniors Graduate

On May 28, Union Catholic graduated 208 seniors. The Class of 2014 received a total of $24,699,257 in college scholarships and awards. Dennis Reilly of Colonia was named Valedictorian and Thomas Hartnett of Clark was named Salutatorian.

The guest speaker, UC School Consultative Board member and alum Megan Dyckman ‘07, insisted that she was confident Union Catholic had prepared the graduates for what is to come in their futures. She encouraged students to “Find out what you’re passionate about and strive to make that a big part of your life, whether you can do it every day in your career or as a hobby. Don’t have any regrets.”

Union Catholic seniors also attended the Baccalaureate Liturgy on Tuesday, May 27, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains, where Reverend Joseph Mancini celebrated and Reverend Michael Ward ’82 (IHM pastor) concelebrated mass.
