Definitely- the only way im going is if Kevin Glover wins the election.. definitely not supporting any of "Mayor" DePaola's events

Lisa- The event is not political. It is merely called the Mayor's Gala. It is not run for or by the Mayor. It is run by a non-partisan committee and raises money for the Municipal Alliance Committee (against drug and alcohol abuse) and other charities. The honorees are not political. They are volunteers. Attending this event is not a show of support for the Mayor but for the volunteers who help make our community the best it can be. BTW, Mayor DePaola will be in office until January regardless of the outcome of the election.
