On Monday, January 16, at least 650 local volunteers will come together to participate in the 3rd annual Martin Luther King Day of Service. MLK Day of Service, , commemorates Dr. King's legacy by celebrating a day on rather than a day off.

Chat live at home about what this day and Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream for humanity means to you.

If you are volunteering, be sure to add to the live chat by tweeting your thoughts and twitpics from the event using the hash tag #spfmlkday. The opening program begins at the in Fanwood at 9:30 a.m. If you missed the online registration, same day registration is available when you arrive.
