Scotch Plains Day Causes Road Closures
Detours will begin at 8 a.m. and last until about 6 p.m. Sunday.
The annual Scotch Plains Day on Sunday will close several streets in town.
The road closures will last from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The fair runs from noon to 5 p.m.
Park Avenue will be closed between 2nd Street and Grand Avenue. Front Street will be closed between Park Avenue and Senger Street. The Scotch Plains Police will assist patrons of The Tavern in and out of the parking lot.
There will also be no thru-traffic on Senger Avenue. The municipal building lot will only be accessible from East 2nd Street. The area of Senger and Front will be only for emergency vehicles.
The municipal lots between Park Avenue and Forest Road will be open for parking.
