Beautiful, high quality flowers, warm and friendly service, and the overall expertise that insures that everything is artfully designed, and exceeds your expectations.... that's the sense I get from Lisa Mohn, proprietor/owner of this prized flower shop in town.
When customers walk into her shop, I am always amazed to find that most everyone knows Lisa by her name, and vice versa. She makes them feel quite comfortable and satisfied with their purchases. Even more, she makes them feel welcomed and appreciated.... This is something that I find we don't always experience these days - especially in the big-box stores. She epitomizes what it means to shop local.
I have found her to be quite genuine in her effort to give back to the community... so much so, that she was recently recognized by our town as the "Volunteer of the Year" by the Scotch Plains Mayor's Gala Committee. On some level, I think her volunteerism is practically unprecedented, and most certainly well appreciated.
Lastly, I must say, if you are having a wedding, a corporate party, a bar-mitzvah, really any occasion at all.... I would highly recommend that you talk with Lisa. Over the years, we have worked together on many events, and her work is top notch. You won't be disappointed, that's for sure.
Lisa did the flowers for my wedding last year. She did an amazing job! She was not only friendly and professional, but she listened to exactly what I wanted. The flowers were beautiful and held up extremely well on an 80 plus degree day in June. If you want a florist who will actually listen to you and have your best interest at heart on your special day, then I would absolutely recommend Apple Blossom.
