We have lived in the area for 19 years and have a tradition: every New Years Eve, I order a standing rib roast. Pricey, but the quality is as good, if not better, than the finest restaurants around. The service is friendly, welcoming, and courteous and I NEVER can leave without picking up some extras...bulk sausage for sausage gravy, meatballs, even great foie gras. The place is seriously dangerous ( happily so!) for the serious foodie.

Best meats in all of central New Jersey hands down!!!! The butchers here really know their craft, and do a phenomenal job. It is rather pricey, but like the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for".
By far the best meat you can get anywhere. but expect to pay for the best meat. Staff is very friendly and outgoing. sometimes there are more of them behind the counter than customers :)
We all know that prime meat is the best rating the USDA gives to meat. So, the quality of John's product are unparalleled. But, the best part about John's is they cut my meat to order. I decide what I am buying and I pick it out. No guesswork. No disappointment once I get the product home.
