The Scotch Plains Office of the Municipal Manager is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the municipality and delivery of public services to the residents. The municipal manager is appointed by the Township Council. Some major duties and responsibilities include implementing the policies of the governing body, supervising and coordinating the work of all Township departments, personnel and personnel policies, preparation of the annual budget and capital budget, contract negotiations and more. The current municipal manager is Christopher Marion.
