The Union County Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC) is located on the campus of Union CountyMore Vocational/Technical Schools. Lisa Tauscher runs the program.

The Union County Educational Technology Training Center provides professional development classes to teachers and administrators from all grade levels in K-12 schools to ensure that the educational technology training needs are being met, while still upholding the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards.

Workshops are taught on various technology, and curriculum-based topics and are open to all Union County-residents. The New Jersey Department of Education funds the center, and classes take place both during and after school hours.

With a main facility on Martine Avenue and a second childcare facility on Grand Street in Scotch Plains, TheMore Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is host to a wide variety of activities and programs for members of all ages, races, faiths, cultures and needs since 1946. The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA offers diverse programs for seniors, adults, teens, tweens and children. Its state-licensed childcare and preschool programs features the Creative Curriculum as well as enrichment programs which foster the intellectual, physical, and character development of each child. Kinder Wrap, Before School, and After School programs provide a continuance of care for school age children.

The YMCA offers aquatics and gymnastics lessons, competitive training for children of all ages and a variety of youth sports. Summer day camps and one-week specialty camps give children the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activities in a safe, caring environment. Adults can take advantage of group exercise and water fitness programs, or work out in the state-of-the-art wellness center.

An Assistance Fund is available to those who are unable to utilize the YMCA's services due to financial hardships.
