The Jersey Four, a Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons tribute band, entertained a crowd of almost 300 last night during the third installment of the 2012 Cultural Arts Concert Series.
The Jersey Four, a Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons tribute band, entertained a crowd of almost 300 last night during the third installment of the 2012 Cultural Arts Concert Series. Festivities began at 6:30 p.m. with "Amazing Dave" Devito's magic act at the Alan Augustine Village Green in Scotch Plains, followed by a musical performance by The Jersey Four.

In recent days, Scotch Plains saw a heat wave, followed by severe thunderstorms. Despite this, as well as threats of an approaching storm, audiences enjoyed ideal conditions during the second installment of the 2012 Cultural Arts Concert Series. "You know, despite the weather, the band is great, they've got people moving, and it's really an enjoyable concert," said Liz Arnold, Scotch Plains resident. The evening kicked off at 6:30 p.m. with children's performer Eva The Diva, followed by Funktion 11's two-set performance at 7:30 p.m. The concert series runs most Thursdays until August 16, with the exception of Tuesday, August 7 for National Night Out, replacing an August 9 performance.
