Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA Dance Company Member Receives Scholarship
Dancer Amy Walejewsky received a workshop scholarship on Jan. 20.
The following information was provided by the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA. On Sunday, January 20th, Amy Walejewsky, a member of the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA Dance Company, received a workshop scholarship from the Associated Dance Teachers of New Jersey. This scholarship is awarded to only 12 students at every workshop based upon positive attitude, active participation in the class, dance etiquette, enthusiasm for the work being presented, and effort expended during the classes. The Associated Dance Teachers of New Jersey is a non-profit professional organization for dance teachers established in 1936. The dance workshops bring top of the line master classes to New Jersey.
