This release was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. On 05/06/2013 @ 1:43 PM Officer made a M.V. stop @ Farley Ave. & Watson Rd. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of South Plainfield. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Ollie Akins-Harvey 57 year old female from Scotch Plains. On 05/06/2013 @ 3:55 PM Officer made a M.V. stop in the 300 block of Midway Ave. for a M.V. violation. While the Officer was speaking with the driver he could detect an odor of an alcoholic beverage from the driver. This release was received from the Fanwood Police Department. On 04/30/2013 @ 10:15 PM Officer responded to the area of the 100 block of LaGrande Ave. for a M.V. accident. Upon the Officers arrival he located a one car accident and while speaking with the driver they could detect an odor of an alcoholic beverage. The Officer placed the driver under arrest and he was charged with D.W.I. and released to a responsible person. Defendant is a Ryan Robinson 38 year old male from Scotch Plains. On 05/02/2013 @ 1:39 AM Officer made a M.V. stop at Midway Ave. & Forest Rd. for a M.V. violation. The following release was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. On 04/05/2013 between 7:00 AM & 11PM the victim reported while his vehicle was parked in the Southside Train Station his parking permit was taken. The victim stated that his vehicle may have been unlocked. Nothing else was missing at this time. On 04/11/2013 @ 11:47 PM Officer made a M.v stop at South Ave. & Terrill Rd. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Elizabeth. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Riccardo Bradley 41 year old male from Plainfield.

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. Between 3:20 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 23, Fanwood officers were responding to an alarm call to a business in the 200 block of South Avenue. When the officers arrived they noticed the front window was smashed but still in one piece. It appears entry was not gained and it was an attempted burglary.

The following information was provided by the Fanwood police department. A resident in the 80 block of Oakwood Court reported a watch was stolen from his residence, according to Fanwood Police. The resident stated the watch went missing between Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 21 at 12 a.m. It is currently unknown at this time who took the watch, according to the Fanwood Police Blotter. The watch is said to be valued at $373.

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. On February 3, 2013: At 2:20 a.m. a Fanwood police officer made a motor vehicle stop at Old South Avenue East and South Avenue for a motor vehicle violation. While the Officer was speaking with the driver he could detect an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. The Officer asked the driver to exit the vehicle for some field sobriety tests. The driver was unable to complete the tests and was placed under arrest. The driver was charged with D.W.I. and released to a responsible person. The defendant is Denise Quinto, 42, from Somerset.

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. A resident in the 40 block of First Street reported that jewelry valued at $13,100 was stolen from their home. The theft happened between Jan. 25 and Jan. 30. As of now, it is unknown how the jewelry was taken.

The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. December 3, 2012: At 3:20 p.m. Officer made a motor vehicle stop in the 300 block of South Ave. for a motor vehicle violation. While the officer was speaking with the driver he could detect a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed a bag of suspected marijuana. Both the driver and passenger were arrested, processed, charged with possession of C.D.S. and released on a summons with a court date. The driver is a Kamall Moore, 19-year-old male from Plainfield.
