Fanwood's Chippery Torn Down This Weekend

The Chippery was taken down this weekend to make way for a new Chippery later this year.

The Chippery in Fanwood was torn down this weekend, but will be replaced with a new Chippery later this year, according to the Borough of Fanwood's Website. The website states that the new restaurant will be built in Pennsylvania and transported to Fanwood via a flatbed truck. Also, owner Brian Walter, co-owner of Oh' Brian's Pourhouse, is planning that the new Chippery will include plenty of seating and a more extensive menu. At the Fanwood Council Meeting on Feb. 5, it was announced that the prefabbed Chippery will be installed on March, 1. For more photos of the demolition visit the Borough's Facebook page. Check back with scotchplains.patch.com as plans for the new Chippery move forward.
