The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. On February 22, 2013 a Car Rental Business in the 10 block of South Avenue reported that a rental car has not been returned. The Rental Business made several attempts to get in touch with the Renter. The Business was reporting the car stolen. The car is a 2012 Nissan Altima 4 door White. with N.J. registration P90-CDY. The value of the car is said to be $25,000.

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Police Department. Theft January 25, 2013: A resident of Katherine Street reported being a victim of a Theft. He stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) stole his vehicle which was parked in the driveway. January 25, 2013: The manager of a Terrill Road restaurant reported being a victim of a Burglary. She stated sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered the restaurant. Entrance was through a rear window. Once inside the suspect(s) removed several hundred dollars in cash. January 26, 2013: A resident of Country Club Lane reported being a victim of a Theft. The following information was provided by the Fanwood Police Department. Between December 29, 2012 at 9:30 p.m. and December 30 at 1:20 a.m., the victim reported his vehicle was stolen from the 190 block of South Ave. The stolen vehicle is described as a 1991 Honda Accord, black, 4 door valued at $ 6,000.00. December 23, 2012: At 2:10 p.m. the victim reported she was parked in the 250 block of South Avenue when an unknown person removed her purse from the open window of her vehicle. The purse contained numerous credit cards and personal information. December 28, 2012: Between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. a unlocked vehicle parked in the 170 block of Farley Avenue was entered by an unknown person who removed money and a GPS unit. Total value …

Westfield resident Kyle Harvin was charged with a DWI. Fanwood Police also investigate a stolen car, landscaping lights.
Stolen Vehicle A South Avenue business reported that sometime between May 27 and May 28, a rental car was not returned. The vehicle was entered as a stolen vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 2004 Ford Taurus, color Blue with N.J. license plate ZFK-66A. Theft A Tillotson Road resident reported that sometime between May 27 and May 28, landscaping lights valued at ten dollars were stolen from the front of her yard. Arrests Kyle Harvin, 35, of Westfield, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. on May 27, for driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit a breath sample.
