Scotch Plains Blotter: Warrant and Marijuana Possessions Arrests

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Police Department. January 12, 2013: Andrea Evely Age. 24 of Plainfield N.J. was arrested for a $165 outstanding warrant issued by the Fanwood court.  Officer Budzinski stopped Evely for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 and discovered the warrant.  She was transported to H.Q. where she was processed and released.   January 12, 2013:  Carolyn Romano Age. 19 of Colchester Ct. was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Officer Von Langen stopped Romano for a motor vehicle violation on West Broad Street and while speaking with her he observed the Marijuana.  Romano was arrested and transported to H.Q. where she was processed and released.   January 13, 2013: Kenny Leon Age. 22 of …

Fanwood Police Crack Down on Outsiders with Outstanding Warrants

Fanwood Police arrest 9 out-of-towners for active warrants.

Theft On February 25, a Kempshall Terrance resident reported a theft. The victim stated that a delivered package valued at $50 was stolen from the front of her house. Arrests Carina Pichardo, 26, of Piscataway, was arrested on February 27, at 4:38 p.m. at South Avenue and Terrill Road. The Officer stopped Pichardo for a motor vehicle violation and discovered an active warrant out of South Plainfield. Pichardo was arrested, processed, posted bail and released.   James Cleaver, 26, of Fanwood, was arrested on March 1, at 2:19 p.m. Police apprehended Cleaver during a field investigation at South and Martine Avenue and discovered an active warrant out of Clark for the defendant. Routine Traffic Stops Lead to Arrests

Two arrests top the list of recent criminal activity reported Fanwood Police Department.

Active Warrants Alexander Branch the third, 54, of Plainfield was arrested on November 23 at 9:51 a.m. on LaGrande Avenue for a motor vehicle violation. After running the defendant’s license through the system, Police found an active warrant out of East Orange. Branch was arrested, processed and transferred to the East Orange Police Department. Ivan Lugo, 34, of Elizabeth was arrested on November 23, at 2:55 p.m.  on South Avenue. Police stopped Lugo’s vehicle for a motor vehicle violation. After running a check on the defendant’s license, Police found an active warrant out of Elizabeth. Lugo was arrested, processed, posted bail and released.
