Mara’s Café & Bakery, a casual, family-friendly café, awarded its first franchise to Marci and Mark Semel of Fanwood, NJ to begin expansion beyond Morris County. The franchise is expected to open in April 2013 across the street from the Fanwood train station at 250 South Avenue. Mara’s Café & Bakery has been recognized regionally and in New Jersey as the Best Coffeehouse, and has won numerous awards for its cheesecake, gelato, cupcakes, cannoli, sandwiches and more. The franchise will serve savory desserts along with fresh roasted coffee and full breakfast, lunch and dinner meals in a relaxing atmosphere. Very poor service, overpriced and no parking = won't be around long. Tried it 3 times and was hoping for better.everyone was complaining orders not received wrong food being served. I watched it happen and it wasn't pretty. Good luck that rent can't be cheap. more ›
