Colleen Mahr Enters 10th Year As Fanwood Mayor
The 2013 reorganization meeting marked the start of Colleen Mahr's 10th year as mayor, it also welcomed two new councilmen, Dan Levine and Jack Molenaar.
The 2013 reorganization meeting for the Borough of Fanwood kicked off Mayor Colleen Mahr’s 10th year as the mayor of Fanwood, it also welcomed two new council members, Dan Levine and Jack Molenaar. Both Levine and Molenaar were sworn in at the reorganization meeting held on Jan. 1 in the borough’s council chambers. Levine placed his hand on a bible held by his wife as he sworn in by Assemblywoman Linda Stender. While Molenaar was also sworn in by Stender while his wife held the bible. Mahr noted that moving forward in 2013 she plans to continue being “fiscally conservative,” as posted on Fanwood’s website.
