The Little Shoebox Project lets needy children and adults in New Jersey know that they are thought of throughout the year by providing shoeboxes full of thoughtful gifts that they might not otherwise receive. The project was founded by Scotch Plains resident Katherine Dreyer and Fanwood resident Tracy Wright in mid-November. In just a few short weeks, the local community along with individuals from Boston to Florida generously prepared 260 shoeboxes. While a shoebox is small in size, donors were very thoughtful about what they included - we could feel the loving wishes packed in each one!
