Fanwood Experiences Brief Power Outages on Sunday Morning
Due to a transformer fire, a section of Fanwood experienced brief outages on Sunday morning.
On Sunday, Dec. 9 a section of Fanwood north of North Avenue experienced brief power outages. The outages were caused by a transformer fire at Forest Road and Montrose Avenue. In an email sent out by the Borough of Fanwood at 8:50 a.m., PSE&G was on scene and working to resolve the problem. PSE&G was able to restore power to the area within the hour.
