Cindy was a reporter for the Staten Island Advance for a nano-second before launching into a 16-year publishing career at Penguin/Putnam, Random House, Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, and Scholastic. She is currently an editorial director in book publishing, a columnist for HQ Magazine, a food/beverage critic for Patch, and an alpha mom for her Brady Bunch-blended family.
