Scotch Plains to Hold 9/11 Memorial Service

The memorial will honor three residents—Matthew Horning, James Walsh and Mark Rothenberg—who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.

The Township of Scotch Plains will be holding a memorial service on Sept. 11 to remember the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

The memorial service will include remarks by Mayor Kevin Glover, along with prayers offered by local clergy in memory of the three Scotch Plains residents who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks: Matthew Horning, James Walsh and Mark Rothenberg.

The service will begin at 7 p.m. at the Scotch Plains 9/11 Memorial Monument on the Alan M. Augustine Village Green on Park Avenue.
