Area families are invited to don their costumes and join us in the Children's Room for a fun afternoon guaranteed to get you into the Halloween spirit. Between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm we will be reading slightly spooky stories hourly followed by a related craft activity.
The schedule for the afternoon is as follows:

12:00 The Monsters’ Monster by Patrick McDonnell
Craft: Paper bag Frankenstein
1:00 The Fierce Yellow Pumpkin by Margaret Wise Brown
Craft: Tissue Paper Jack-o-Lanterns
2:00 Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds
Craft: Foam creepy carrot magnets
3:00 The Hungry Ghosts by Julius Lester
Craft: Ghost wind sock
Events at the Scotch Plains Public Library are free and open to the public. Registration for this event is not required.
