What happened last week in Scotch Plains and Fanwood? A lot, judging by our coverage. Here's a full rundown of the stories that made the news.

On Monday, we brought you a profile of Raiders JV Baseball Coach John Giunta, who's helped the team go far the past few years in the county tournament. We also featured Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School's new grand piano, the first in over 50 years.

On Tuesday, we updated you on the Joint Library Project, which the board have decided to postpone as a referendum for now. We also let you know that the Scotch Plains Planning Board approved Temple Sholom's move to Lake Avenue; brought you coverage of SPFHS' Jazz Night; gave you a rundown of where to shop locally for all your prom needs; and informed you that the school district has issued non-renewal notices to more than 200 employees.
