The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Scotch Plains, Fanwood and the rest of Union County.
A storm is currently headed this way and is expected to bring up to two inches of rain. Excessive runoff from these storms will cause flooding in streets, highways and underpasses, as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
