Police activity from June 2 to June 6.

Tuesday, June 2:

  • Shakira Ramsey, 26, of Jersey City, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. She was stopped for a motor vehicle violation when police discovered the warrant. Ramsey was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released.
  • A resident of Country Club lane reported being a victim of a burglary. The woman stated that an unknown suspect entered her apartment. No items were found missing.
  • Police investigated a hit and run vehicle accident that occurred on Route 22. The victim stated that an unknown suspect struck his vehicle and then kept driving without stopping.

Thursday, June 4:

  • Derell Richardson, 28, of Plainfield, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Richardson was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and then released.
  • Matthew Descisco, 25, of Kenilworth, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Desisco was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, when the officer smelled the odor of alcohol. He was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.

Saturday, June 6:

  •  A resident of Rahway Road reported being a victim of criminal mischief. The owner stated that an unknown suspect broke part of the fence in his front yard.
