SP Police Reports: Oct. 8 to 11

DUI, theft and property damage are among the reports.

Thursday, Oct. 8:

  • James P. Fitzgerald, 59, of Scotch Plains, was arrested for several outstanding warrants after a motor vehicle stop. He posted bail and was released.
  • Rachel Cambridge, 25, of Edison, was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a motor vehicle stop. She posted bail and was released.

Friday, Oct. 9:

  • Kyle F. DeFalco, 24, of Clark, was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a motor vehicle stop. He posted bail and was released.
  • Lamont C. Cooley, 27, of Scotch Plains, was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a motor vehicle stop. He posted bail and was released.
  • A gas station attendant on Route 22 reported that over $500 was stolen from the register.

Saturday, Oct. 10:

  • A resident of Phillipsburg reported that his vehicle was damaged while parked on Monica Place in Scotch Plains.

Sunday, Oct. 11:

  • Daniel Quijano, 20, of Scotch Plains, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped for a motor vehicle violation when the officer smelled the odor of alcohol. Quijano tried to flee the scene, but was ultimately transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.
  • A Scotch Plains business owner reported receiving a bad check from a Fanwood resident.
